Call for help! We need volunteers who can help us spread the word about WE RESTART. You can answer the call for help by offering 2 hours of your time at Co-op in Cricklewood, Willesden Green and Queens Park (NW2).
WE RESTART has been awarded the Co-op Community Fund and until October 2023, members can choose to raise funds for our cause. For every £1 members spend on selected Co-op branded products and services, 1p will go directly to WE RESTART.
In return you will receive our forever gratitude and the "WE RESTART Volunteer Certificate"

Are you passionate about art? Do you think art can help society improve? Do you want to be part of social change and women empowerment? If the answer to these questions is yes, WeRestart is the charity for you.
If you apply for our Volunteers Programme, you will donate your time to a good cause while enjoying the opportunity to meet and work with new people, in and for your community.
We value the time you dedicate to WeRestart, and how your hard work contributes to achieving our goals. During your journey as part of our team, you will learn a range of skills that will help you start your ideal career.
Besides the volunteering hours spent at our office based in Central London and on the field, we will hold specific workshops to help you develop soft (and in high demand by employers) skills.
Volunteering activities and the related skills acquired can boost the effectiveness of your CV and the likelihood of entering the job market. However, many people do not feel comfortable writing a CV, or they do not know how to expose information effectively. Accordingly, we decided to hold a further series of workshops, with activities focused on CV writing and LinkedIn Profile-building. We want to help our volunteers to get the best opportunities from the time they spend with us.
Successful communication helps us better understand people, tasks and situations. These are essential capabilities to work in any environment and industry. During our workshops, we will talk about effective communication, non-verbal communication, and how important it is to switch your communication strategy depending on the audience (from peers to stakeholders).
Working effectively in a team requires more than having good manners and doing your job. Team working means being part of a community, relying on other people and trusting them. We will talk about team organisation, team and trust-building strategies, and processes of conflict resolution and reconciliation.
Improving your ability to speak in public is crucial to gain confidence while presenting a project, research or even yourself during an interview. The workshops dedicated to this subject mainly talk about the 5 p’s of Public Speaking: planning, preparation, consistency, practice and performance.
Did you know that organising your time efficiently enhances your decision-making ability? It is also essential to develop additional skills including multitasking and problem-solving. The workshops on Time Management will help you understand and use concepts like prioritization, delegation, scheduling and strategic thinking.
